Squirrels Have No Respect

As most of you know, we allow the wildlife to go wild in our backyard. Some could say we encourage it by feeding them. Well, this morning as we were rushing to get out of the house for work, we noticed one of the squirrels digging in Mary Beth's pot of basil. Evidently, he had stored some goodies in the dirt in the pot. As he was standing in the pot rummaging through the dirt, Mary Beth mentioned that he might want to remove himself from her basil plant since that was off limits. Do you know what the cheeky little monster did then? He looked at us and went to the bathroom in her plant!!! It was one of the funniest things I have seen, this little squirrel in total defiance marking his territory. Not sure Mary Beth was as amused :)
